Private snowmobile, ice fishing and northern lights trips and sled transport in the Käsivarsi wilderness around Kilpisjärvi and in Sevettijärvi–Näätämö, northern Inari.
Arctic Aurora Productions is a small wilderness company from Lapland. I run private trips in the Käsivarsi wilderness around Kilpisjärvi and in Sevettijärvi–Näätämö, northern Inari – always for one party at a time.
Trips include snowmobile, ice fishing and northern lights tours as well as overnight trips in a stove tent. I also carry ski trekkers, hikers and anglers with their gear into the wilderness – in Käsivarsi, all the way to Halti.
I hold permits from Metsähallitus – the Finnish state agency that manages national parks and wilderness areas – for snowmobile safaris and sled transport and a fishing tourism permit from the ELY Centre. I travel the wilderness within the permit conditions and with respect for reindeer herding.

As a Laplander, I know the routes, the moods of the weather and the rhythm of the wilderness. You can focus on what matters: the fells, the silence and moments you won't forget.
As a small company, the same person looks after your trip from the first quote to the wilderness and back – no middlemen.

Permits and safety
Fully permitted, safety planned
Nature in the north is beautiful but demanding. Careful planning, local knowledge and professional guidance are the foundation of every tour.

Landowner consent for snowmobile safaris and sled transport in the Käsivarsi, Paistunturi and Kaldoaivi wilderness areas and the Sevettijärvi–Näätämö area.
Fishing tourism permit
Permit from the ELY Centre for guided fishing trips in Utsjoki, Enontekiö and Inari until 2030.
Safety document
Operational risks are assessed and documented in line with Finnish consumer safety requirements.
Liability insurance
Our operations are covered by valid liability insurance.
- Safety briefing and equipment check before every trip.
- Satellite communicator, GPS, first aid kit and emergency shelter on every trip.
- Ice and route conditions are verified before departure and during the trip.
- Equipment is serviced according to manufacturer instructions.
- If weather or conditions are not safe, the trip is rescheduled, rerouted or cancelled.
