A wilderness of lakes and boulder fields around Sevettijärvi and Näätämö, near the Norwegian border. Few people travel here.
Around Sevettijärvi and Näätämö the land is rugged and beautiful: hills, boulder fields and frozen lakes as far as the eye can see. The Vätsäri wilderness hides countless lakes whose ice few people ever reach.
Here I run snowmobile, ice fishing and northern lights tours and sled transport into the wilderness. Trips to the fells of Utsjoki, Finland's northernmost municipality, are also possible.
