About the trip
A night on the fells
Camp is set up where the only sounds are the wind and the crackle of the stove. The Nortent Gamme 8 is a Norwegian tent inspired by the Sámi turf hut – it withstands a fell storm, and it's warm inside even when the frost bites outside.
In the evening you can step out to watch the stars and the northern lights. In the morning you wake to complete silence.
I've spent dozens of nights in a tent in the wilderness. The first morning in the wilderness is always the one you remember.

About the Nortent Gamme 8
A Norwegian four-season tent inspired by the traditional Sámi turf hut (gamme). Five crossing aluminium poles make it sturdy in strong wind and under snow load.
216 cm high and 432 cm across, so you can stand up inside. Room for about eight, and the wood stove keeps it warm even on freezing nights.
Your own or a rented snowmobile
You can join the trip on your own snowmobile. If you don't have one, I help you rent – the rental cost is added to the price.

Two-day wilderness trip
A private two-day trip into the wilderness near Kilpisjärvi or in northern Inari. Your guide is with you for the whole trip, both days and through the night – camp, meals and routes are taken care of for you. Includes guiding, snowmobile transport, accommodation, camping and camp equipment (except sleeping bags) and all meals. Special diets by arrangement.
